My aim in creating the TAO Oracle was to honor the ancient Taoist wisdom known for thousands of years as The Book of Changes. This illuminated deck and accompanying book offer a creative approach to enhance one’s understanding of the impact of change upon oneself.
The TAO Oracle continues the I Ching’s tradition in an inspired, innovative way. In it, the 64 hexagrams are illustrated to convey meaning at first glance, allowing viewers to connect with the images aside from consulting the book’s commentaries. Creating these images and the accompanying book was a transformative journey for me, one that involved a deep exploration of how personal changes impact our experience of the external world. With this increased awareness, we are more fully engaged with life.
Therefore, the TAO Oracle is created for individuals looking to explore the connection between their lives and the natural world. This experience promotes a sense of unity with everything around us, enhancing both understanding and meditation practice. With this deck, there is no need for interpretation — the cards speak for themselves.
